Bobby Bodell R.I.P.

Bobby only joined our band only a few years before passing away suddenly, but he certainly made up for the short time he was with us. Bobby was one of the most extravagant and eccentric Drum Majors in Liverpool as anybody who knew him or knew of him will tell you the same.

Bobby always led Saundies with pride, honour and passion he always got us a cracking reception wherever we were parading weather it being a Band Parade in the blustery Liverpool nights to a sunny Sunday Church Parade and Service, Bobby always gave nothing less than 100% to the band every time and that is one of the reasons why Bobby was well like by everyone and will be deeply missed by all. Bobby's wife Anne still comes along to Band functions and Parades and is fondly liked by all the members of the Band, even the newer members who wasn't in the Band when Bobby led us.
