Welcome to the website of Colonel Saunderson Memorial Band, We are a marching Band from Liverpool, we take great pride in our Heritage and culture whilst respecting the culture and beliefs of other communities, we take part in various processions and events relating to the Protestant Community in Liverpool. As Liverpool enters its Capital of Culture Year we are taking part in the Liverpool 08 celebrations by walking on 2 Grand Lodge Capital Of Culture Parades through the city centre also the band are playing at the Liverpool Provincial Club in an open air band concert that is to be held throughout the day with an Orange Order Memorabilia Exhibition on Saturday 19th July 2008.
Band News
The Band are celebrating our 40th Anniversary this year, we are marking the occasion with a function and small parade on 26th July there will be more details between now and then posted on the site, we are also taking part in the Brixham parade for the 4th year running in november, some of our members travelled over to Ulster on the weekend of the 20th June for the annual band parade of Portadown True Blues FB who are also in their 40th Anniversary year, There will be some pictures of the weekend put on soon. once again a special thank you must go to Big Sam Hill, Merv Steinson, Billy McLean and Cookie for their hospitality over the weekend.

PORTADOWN TRUE BLUES FB
We have a number of DVD's from The 40th Anniversary of the Portadown True Blue FB, the price of the DVD is only £10 and well worth it if you ask me. In October 1968 the founders of the first Blood and Thunder band in Portadown could never have imagined what they were starting, 40 years later the True Blues are celebrating a historic milestone, This DVD has over 2 hours of footage, with the anniversary parade filmed using 2 cameras, Portadown True Blues parading with 38 guest bands, along with unique footage and pictures from the past 40 years.
